Emerging Enterprise Center Announces Finalists for the 1st Annual EEC Luncheon Featuring the Swim with the Sharks Video Pitch Competition
New Castle, DE, September 2016: The Emerging Enterprise Center has officially announced the three finalists of the Swim with the Sharks Video Pitch Competition. The Swim with the Sharks program began in June with a workshop on “How to Use Video to Market” and a workshop in July on “How to Create an Effective Pitch.” These workshops were all in an effort to educate submitters and the business community as a whole how to create a video pitch. The submission process was a month long from August to September. A panel of judges rated and voted on the videos on Friday, September 16th and the finalists were contacted and announced. The three finalists are:
- JADE Biotech LLC, a University of Delaware graduate that has invented a narcotics waste well to help reduce waste, cost, and drug abuse.
- Vibrating Therapeutic Apparel, a University of Delaware graduate that has invented a sleeve for amputees to manage their phantom leg pain.
- NERDiTNOW, a University of Delaware graduate that is offering a mobile solution and wide range of products and services for IT repairs and troubleshooting.
The winner of the Grand Prize of $5,000 in cash and services will be voted on live via text to vote at the 1st Annual EEC Luncheon at the World Café Live at the Queen on September 23rd.
